Addis Ababa Tegbareid Polytechnic college, established in 1942 G.C with the assistance of the Italian Government known as” Gonderan during that time “, it was the first pioneer “Technical School of the country “which provides necessary technicians and technical supervisors for different sectors such as Ethiopian airlines, electric and power authority, telecommunication, manufacturing industries agricultural industries in nationwide. AATPTC, have a legal personality as a poly technique college of the city government by law and regulations. Since then, the college was and still is providing vocational education mainly in the technical occupations (metal manufacturing, electricity, electronics, automotive but also in construction, woodwork, Textile, ICT) starting in 10+/2+3 programs and from 2006 in level I-V. The training in level V has currently started.
