The Manufacturing Department at Addis Ababa Technical and Vocational Polytechnic College, established in 1942 (Ethiopian calendar), is one of the college’s flagship departments. It offers comprehensive technical education and training in manufacturing technology, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in fabrication, production, and industrial processes. The department has gained national and international recognition for producing highly skilled professionals who contribute significantly to Ethiopia’s industrial growth and economic development.

Programs Offered  

– Regular Programs: Levels 1 to 5 in production technology, mechanics, machining, welding, and foundry.  

– Short-Term Training: Welding, machining, and aluminum work.
